Spotlight Series: Maintaining & Enhancing Meaningful Recognition Strategies in Our New Normal

Welcome back to Episode 2 in the Versant Spotlight Series, in which we offer a platform to our partner organizations to collaborate and shine a light on their own proven strategies for success.

In this vignette, Bonnie Barnes, co-founder and CEO of The DAISY Foundation, returns and is joined by two champions of meaningful recognition from Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital in Los Angeles, California.

Tammy Turner serves as Perinatal Nurse Manager at MLKCH. She has chaired The DAISY Award Program, co-chaired the Reward and Recognition Committee, and is committed to continually developing strategies to recognize and celebrate the stellar work being done in service to her Los Angeles community.

Rosina Lloyd serves as the Versant Manager at MLKCH, responsible for overseeing all aspects of program management with regard to their multiple Versant transition to practice programs. In addition, she serves as a clinical nurse educator with West Coast University.

Both Rosina and Tammy have been serving on the front lines during the pandemic and we are so grateful for their insight as we continue to explore this timely topic.
