PRECONFERENCE

Tuesday, November 6th, 2018

1:00 PM to 4:30 PM – Preconference Workshop

Versant® has helped its partners increase retention and nurse satisfaction for over 20 years. Ensuring every nurse is competent, confident, and equipped to handle the complexities inherent to creating a culture of safety, program outcomes contribute to improve patient safety, patient satisfaction, and quality of care. Versant separates metrics into four categories: safety, organizational capacity, sustainability, and economic benefit.

During this year’s preconference Workshop, Versant Center for the Advancement of Nursing® (Vcan®) will provide participants with the opportunity to review their organizational data that are reflective of safety (Versant Self-Efficacy, Nurse-Work Satisfaction, Turnover Intent, and competency validation). The Workshop will provide strategies on how to use the data in various settings and identify key concepts for dissemination. In addition, the Workshop will provide participants with strategies for networking within an organization to identify areas for additional research on safety for publication. Residency stakeholders, researchers, current graduate or doctoral students, CNOs/Executive Sponsors, and anyone interested in research and writing for peer-reviewed publication will benefit from this 3 1/2-hour workshop.

Contact Jean Shinners at jshinners@versant.org if you have any questions. To register, please click here to be taken to our preconference registration form.
