Transitioning Experienced RN's to New Clinical Practice Areas
Because of our immense success with the transition of new graduates to practice using the original structure and framework of the RN Residency, Versant has begun to explore and pilot the service offering of transition of experienced RN’s within an organization to new clinical practice areas. Versant is working to support two client organizations to identify transition areas and plan for implementation of the first cohorts of transition residents in the late summer of 2011.
Transitioning New Graduates to Practice
The Versant® RN Residency is a comprehensive education and training system designed specifically to transition newly graduated registered nurses from students to safe, competent professional practitioners. New graduate nurses are considered to be those who have less than six months of nursing experience.
