Standard Approach

Regardless of specialty, all residents complete the same Versant core curriculum and competencies. They attend classes together and, in general, receive the same amount clinical experiences. This standard approach reduces variation in practice, which in turn leads to a safer, higher-quality level of patient care.

Knowledge Application

The Versant RN Residency provides residents with the right information, at the right time, in the right sequence. Interactive classes and skills labs are designed to build upon and run concurrently with clinical experience. As a result, knowledge gained in the classroom can be applied to practice quickly and in a more meaningful way.

Comprehensive Support Structure

RN Resident’s are supported—professionally and emotionally—by a network of senior nurses who act as preceptors, mentors, and debriefers. This dedicated support system gives residents greater confidence in their abilities, greater satisfaction with their new employer, and greater commitment to their profession.

You can’t manage what you can’t measure. The Versant RN Residency is evidence-based and outcome driven. It uses a comprehensive evaluation system that allows you to monitor resident performance in real-time and provides you with the empirical data needed to monitor the RN Residency’s outcomes.
